Removal
Open hood (16612) and suitably support.
Remove headlamp door. Refer to Section 01-08.
Remove radiator grille (8200) as described in Radiator Grille in the Removal and Installation portion of this section.
Remove screw(s) and washer(s) attaching radiator grille opening panel reinforcement (8A284) to front fender body (16015).
Remove screw and washers attaching hood latch support brace (16747) to radiator grille opening panel reinforcement.
Remove radiator grille opening panel reinforcement.
Installation
Follow removal procedures in reverse order. Tighten front fender body attaching screws and washers to 9-14 Nm (80-124 lb-in). Tighten hood latch support brace screws to 24-31 Nm (18-23 lb-ft).
