Lubrication Points

 WARNING: THE AMERICAN PETROLEUM INSTITUTE (API) HAS ANNOUNCED THAT CONTINUOUS CONTACT WITH USED MOTOR OIL HAS CAUSED SKIN CANCER IN LABORATORY MICE. PROTECT YOUR SKIN BY WASHING WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER COMING IN CONTACT WITH USED MOTOR OIL.

Important lubrication points for typical chassis and engines are shown in the following illustrations. Vehicles with optional equipment may have slightly different or additional lubrication points. When special equipment or accessories are installed on the vehicle, consult the manufacturer's literature for lubrication procedures. Refer to Lubricant and Maintenance Materials Specifications charts in the Specifications portion of this section.
