The transmission control switch is located on the end of the gearshift lever (7210). It locks out the overdrive operation of the transmission (7003) and enables full automatic operation through the first three gears.
When the transmission control switch is pushed, the OFF indicator light on the gearshift lever will illuminate and overdrive operation will be disabled. If the transmission control switch is pushed again, overdrive operation will be restored and the indicator light will be off.
