Removal
NOTE: Locking tab must be lifted before connector can be removed.
Disconnect main wiring connector from stoplight switch (13480).
NOTE: Since the switch side plate nearest the brake pedal (2455) is slotted, it is not necessary to remove the power brake booster (2005) and black bushing from the brake pedal pin.
Remove the hairpin retainer. Slide stoplight switch, power brake booster, white nylon washer and bushing away from brake pedal.
Remove washer and then the stoplight switch by sliding stoplight switch up or down.
