Inspection and Verification

Verify the customer's concern by inspecting the condition. Check for any resistance in accelerator pedal action. Inspect the accelerator pedal if a high engine idle speed condition exists. After inspection and verification, refer to the Symptom Chart for the condition, and perform the appropriate action to correct the condition.
