Acceleration Sensor

The acceleration sensor is attached to the left frame rail under the driver. It provides the anti-lock brake electronic control module with deceleration (G-force) information. This information is used by the anti-lock brake electronic control module to select the anti-lock control program depending on road conditions. It also provides necessary information for ABS functioning in 4WD.
