Rotor

Clean the rotor of any dirt, oil, grease or other contaminants. The rotor braking surface may be lightly sanded to remove minor scratches or surface rust.

Inspect the rotor for cracks, heat damage and minimum thickness. Check the rotor parallelism and lateral runout. Discard and replace any rotor that cannot meet specifications.
