Clean all parts thoroughly.
Inspection
CAUTION: Do not attempt to true this surface by grinding.
Inspect pad at valve end of rocker arm for indications of scuffing or abnormal wear. If pad is grooved, replace rocker arm (6564).
Check rocker arm steel ball and friction surfaces of rocker arm and rocker arm pedestal for excessive wear.
