Latch, Bench Seat, F-150, F-250, F-350, F-Super Duty Chassis Cab, Crew Cab

Removal

1. Remove attaching screws and front seat back cover (64416) from lower side of front seat back frame (61018) (both sides).

2. Remove two bolts attaching latch to front seat back frame.

3. Remove seat latch.

Installation

1. Follow removal procedures in reverse order. Springs (one each side) must rest against the bottom of the front seat back frame and hook over the pawls on each end of the latch.

2. Tighten upper bolt to 30-40 Nm (22-30 lb-ft) and the lower bolt to 27-43 Nm (20-32 lb-ft).
