Removal
CAUTION: Use care when handling front seat (60012) and front seat tracks (61704). Dropping assembly or sitting on front seat when seat is not secured in vehicle could result in damaged components.
Disconnect wiring, if equipped.
Remove damaged screws and nuts (one on each side) retaining front seat to front floor pan (11135). Discard used screws.
Lift the seat and track assembly out of the vehicle.
Installation
Apply Caulking Cord D6AZ-19560-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M4G32-A around front seat track assembly attaching screw and stud locations on front floor pan.
Position front seat and front seat tracks into vehicle. Secure to front floor pan with the new retaining screws and nuts with the same part number as indicated. Tighten the nuts to 47-63 Nm (35-46 lb-ft).
Connect wiring, if equipped.
