REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Carpet, Floor

Removal

  1. Remove the seat(s). Refer to Section 01-10.

  1. If equipped with manual transmission, remove gearshift lever boot bezel (7E391).

  1. Grasp floor carpet (13000) beneath floor shifter boot and pull outward and upward away from boot.

  1. Remove console panel (045A36). Refer to Section 01-12.

  1. Remove screws retaining right and left cowl side trim panels.





  1. Remove screws retaining front door scuff plates (13208). Remove front door scuff plates.

  1. Remove screws retaining tailgate scuff plate (Bronco) and remove scuff plate.

  1. Remove cowl side trim panels.

  1. Remove screws retaining floor carpet.

  1. NOTE: Use old floor carpet as a template to cut hole for shifter(s), if floor carpet is being replaced.

    Remove floor carpet.

Installation

  1. Follow the removal procedures in reverse order.
