REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Hinge, Tailgate, F-150, F-250, F-350, F-Super Duty

 

Removal

  1. Remove the tailgate. Refer to Tailgate in Removal and Installation portion of this section.

  1. Remove the two hinge bracket-to-body screws and the hinge bracket.

 

Installation

  1. Install the two hinge bracket-to-body screws and the hinge bracket. Tighten to 35-55 Nm (26-41 lb-ft).

  1. Install the tailgate. Refer to Tailgate in Removal and Installation portion of this section.
