Removal
Remove the front door trim panel (23942) and front door trim shield (237A04) from the door. Refer to Section 01-05.
Disconnect cables or rods from inside door handle (22600) and door lock cylinder (21985), if necessary, and front door latch actuating rod (22152) from front door latch remote control and link (21818).
Remove the latch assembly attaching screws.
Remove door latch.
Installation
NOTE: Attach double 90-degree rods and cable to latch before latch installation.
Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
